The end of classes is fast approaching and I couldn’t help myself from reminiscing the moments I had with Mendel. Every time the memories flash in my mind, a smile always emerges in my face. It makes me in a good mood throughout the day. Those memories, certainly, will never be forgotten.
Who would ever forget the time when we were doing our hands-on and everybody else have their own stories to tell that would suddenly make our room noisy. And when Ms. Gallardo would walk in, everybody would be quiet. The moment she would go out, the noise emerges right away. That was so much fun! That is one thing you couldn’t get rid of from Mendel. Anyway, I would never forget the times when we were having our CS class and Ms. Gallardo would suddenly tell a joke that would make the whole class burst to laugh. There is one thing that really made me laugh so hard that it even made my tears fall from my eyes. It is when Ms. Gallardo recognized the guy from Mendel who is very much alike with Andrew E. and unexpectedly told the whole class about it and pointed that guy. Everybody laughed so hard. Some even clapped their hands because of too much happiness. That was so cool! Who would ever forget the day when we were all going to our respected computer unit and were about to sit in on the chair but out of the blue, a scream emerged from out of nowhere and later on found out that it came from one of our classmates that was laying on the ground. We found out that the reason why she was on the ground is because one of our classmates accidentally pulled the chair she was about to sit on. When she got up, instead of being angry, she too was laughing at herself. That was a shocking, but funny happening.
Our life as third year students is not only composed of happy moments. There are surely a lot of not-so-happy experiences happened in each one of us. Like in Mendel, I won’t forget the day when Ms. Gallardo got mad at the whole class for not being there at her class on time. Honestly, we didn’t mean to be late. We just thought that she is absent that’s why we didn’t go upstairs. But we were really sorry for that. There was also an incident wherein our teacher gave us a time limit of 10 seconds to get our things and get inside the room. When the time limit is over, she would close the door and won’t let the remaining students outside to get in. When I arrived, there was only 5 seconds left and I got my things quickly. So quickly that I even forgot to zip my bag. Thank God, nothing was lost! Anyway, with the 5-second time that was remained to me, I still made it inside. Whew! That was too close! That was so tensely but exciting.
Those are only some of the memories I have with my classmates. There are still a lot more. A page would not be enough for me to tell you all the happy and sad moments I have with my classmates. But too bad, I only limited myself with just a page. Well, at least I have shared to you some. Hehe!
There is one thing that is undoubtedly true, that the moments I have with Mendel will surely be forever not only in my mind, but in my heart as well.
