Jomelia Quetulio:
The last quarter (3rd quarter) was quite short. Maybe, I saw it just so short because we only have a few topics, very few that they were only two; looping statements and the randomize function. This quarter (4th quarter), we’ just starting on our lessons, and more to come (I expect so). The fist two are the array and the nested for.Third grading was not long, and I can’t think of memorable experiences other than the hands-on tasks we did. I thank God for having Mark in our group, he somewhat contributed a lot in our task accomplishments but, off course, I did contributed too. The most exciting hands-on task was the snake program which is also our 3rd quarter project. Imagine, we programmed a game! The borders, the characters, the directions, etc. They were all new ideas, new for us. I’m thanking that that’s part of our CS lessons. For this grading period, nested for is quite simple.
Some of the programs we make, this last two quarters were easy that my group got it excellently, but there are those which made me think deeply that my head ached and pounded, and the embarrassing part was I couldn’t get it, maybe I just didn/t understand the topic fully. My group mates couldn’t think of the correct syntax too which makes us get low scores or we don’t even get a score. We don’t finish a few of the hands-ons.
